This Cookie Policy explains how Night Mode Ltd ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies across the Aspire website (aspire.wales) and the Aspire mobile app. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
The Aspire website does not use any cookies. We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or any other non-essential technologies on the website. No consent is required because nothing is set on your device.
The Aspire app does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or tracking technologies.
To sign you in, the app uses Microsoft Entra ID. When you log in, the sign-in screen opens in your device's browser, and Microsoft may place its own cookies in that browser to manage your sign-in session securely. These cookies are set by Microsoft, on Microsoft's domains, and are strictly necessary to authenticate you. We do not control or have access to them.
Once you are signed in, the app stores an authentication token in your device's secure storage so you don't have to log in repeatedly. This token is used only to keep you signed in and to confirm which content you are permitted to access. It is not a cookie and is not used for tracking.
All technologies described above are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested (signing in and accessing your content). Under UK data protection and privacy law (UK GDPR and PECR), strictly necessary cookies and similar storage do not require consent, which is why Aspire does not show a cookie consent banner.
Authentication is provided by Microsoft Entra ID. Microsoft's handling of any data and cookies during sign-in is governed by Microsoft's own privacy and cookie policies. For more on how we use Microsoft services, see our Privacy Policy.
We may update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. Any updates will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
